School Conference & Activity Leave

School conference and activity leave is an unpaid leave of absence to attend school conferences or classroom activities that are related to the employee's child. In accordance with state law, University employees are eligible to take up to 16 hours each year of unpaid leaves of absence for this purpose. Use of paid leave, such as vacation or compensatory time, during this type of absence must be in accordance with the respective employee group governing documents.
