You are automatically enrolled in the Pharmacy Program when you elect any UPlan medical plan.

Flexible Spending Accounts

You can select one or both of the FSAs that are available:

  • Dependent Daycare accounts
  • Health Care accounts

In 2017 you can contribute up to $2,600 per employee in your Health Care FSA, or $5,000 per household in your Dependent Daycare FSA.

FSAs must be renewed every year.

Additional Life Insurance

Child Life Insurance

You can enroll in Child Life Insurance online without evidence of good health. Child life insurance covers each of your eligible dependent children from live birth to age 26. You pay $0.42 per biweekly pay period for $10,000 of coverage.

Short-term Disability

You can elect an amount to replace up to 66-2/3% of your salary but no more than $5,000 per month.

Long-term Disability

If you are a civil service or non-faculty labor represented employee, you can elect Long-term Disability to the lesser of $5,000 or 60% of your monthly earnings.
