Financial Health and Debt Solution Webinars

LSS Financial, the official financial counseling provider to the University, offers free webinars for building strong financial skills and shrinking debt and loans. Coming soon:

  • Foundations of Financial Wellbeing. Develop your financial well-being by learning strategies to spend less than you earn and end the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle; reduce debt; increase assets; increase your buying power with improved credit; and protect the financial wellbeing you have built with insurance and avoiding scams and identity theft. This course is five sixty-minute Noon classes, and features interactive software, and can earn Wellbeing Points. Join Wednesday sessions starting May 19 or Thursday sessions starting May 20

  • Financial Health Checkup. Learn how to assess your financial health on an annual basis with a financial health checkup. Identify the numbers that indicate financial health, discuss habits to build resiliency, and set goals to reach your full financial health potential. Zoom session 11:30 AM on May 25.

One in four people will struggle with mental health at some point in their lives. The University's Employee Assistance Program, administered by Sand Creek, can help. On June 9, Sand Creek will host another of its quarterly, interactive drop-in webinars to discuss resources, coping strategies, and helpful tools available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff:

Health Benefits Workshop

This workshop is for employees who are interested in learning more about their benefit options—medical, dental, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and disability benefits—and would like assistance before completing their enrollment online. This workshop complements the New Employee Welcome by providing detailed benefits information. New employees should plan to attend the earliest session following their start date at the University.
