SKY Campus Breathing Retreat

The SKY Campus Happiness Retreat is a breathwork, wellbeing, and resilience training tailored for staff and faculty at the University of Minnesota. This experiential workshop includes SKY breathwork, interactive group process, light yoga, positive psychology, and emotional intelligence exercises. Research shows that SKY meditation significantly increases wellbeing and resilience while significantly reducing anxiety and stress markers.

  • Through meditative breathwork and self-awareness practices, you'll gain knowledge and skills to:
  • Clear and relax the mind
  • Increase personal resilience by managing negative emotions and stress
  • Increase energy naturally through breath practices
  • Gain balance and broader perspective on life when facing challenges
  • Develop strategies for social connection and community building

The next SKY retreat will be held from June 27 to 29 (4:30–7:30 p.m. each day) and earns 1,800 Wellbeing Points. Register for the June retreat.

What past participants thought:

  • "Do it! Really—do it! I instantly felt my nervous system shift in doing the SKY breathing practices, and that's just in a three-day retreat. It was easy for me to imagine how this could shift things for me when making this a daily practice.”
  • "I loved the retreat. The hardest part is making the commitment to attend the first session. The other sessions are easy to attend. I learned new breathing techniques that I could immediately practice and feel the effects."
  • "A wonderful experience. This was very much the right time for me, as I have been experiencing a lot of anxiety and burnout. I feel much more equipped to handle stress and my own mental wellbeing."
  • “You’ll feel so good after. I feel like I have the tools that will help me continue to feel happier and calmer.”
